[The New Haven Times] ADFs Announce New Weapon Development Program

ADFs Announce New Weapon Development Program

[New Haven] Defense Secretary Ashton Fraser announced that the first phase of a new weapon development program would begin on Friday, following recent increases to the budget of the Defense Department. Fraser, who as long been an advocate for experimental weaponry, stated that the new development program would attempt to create a high-tech line of offensive "mobile suits."

"The recent wars we have seen in the Great Conservative Alliance indicate that Almarc must develop cutting-edge weaponry to remain competitive in the international community," stated Fraser in a press conference. "The Defense Department has, therefore, decided to pursue the creation of an advanced line of mobile suits to meet recent changes to the status quo of warfare."

While Secretary Fraser declined to give specific details regarding the program, the Defense Secretary stated the new mobile suits would replace the need for fighter jets and tanks. Fraser also included the following diagrams in his presentation to members of the press:
